Supported Calf Raise
The Supported Calf Raise mainly trains your calves.
Bodyweight
Stable

How to do it
- Stand tall in front of the frame, feet hip-width apart
- Rise briskly onto your toes
- Hold for one second at the top
- Lower slowly, set your heels down quietly
Coach’s tip
Strong calves and ankles are what catch you when you stumble. On a step with your heels free, the range gets longer. When it gets easy: do it on one leg or with the cable.

Stability
A bench, the floor or the frame takes the counterforce, or the cable pulls straight up or down. Good for heavy sets.
